This compound activates the enzyme guanylate cyclase, which leads to an increase in the concentration of cyclic guanosine monophosphate (cGMP) in the corpora cavernosa of the penis. This causes the smooth muscles of the penis to relax, allowing for greater blood flow to it. The concentration of GMP depends on the rate of its synthesis with the participation of guanylate cyclase and the rate of its breakdown by GMP-hydrolyzing phosphodiesterase (PDE). The substance Tadalafil strongly and selectively blocks phosphodiesterase 5 (PDE5), specific for GMP. Therefore, it inhibits the breakdown of GMP and in this way increases its concentration in the original. Tadalafil significantly increases the effect of endogenous nitric oxide in the corpora cavernosa due to the inhibition of PDE5. Therefore, as a result of sexual arousal, nitric oxide is released, the inhibition of PDE5 by Tadalafil causes an increase in the concentration of GMP in the corpora cavernosa. Sexual arousal is necessary for the beneficial therapeutic effects of the substance Tadalafil to occur.

Carefill 80mg should not be used by people with:

- congenital degenerative diseases of the retina

- recent stroke

- severe liver failure

- heart attack

Possible side effects:
